I've been running around with a camera since I was 9 years old. Two years into
the new millennium I bought my first point-and-shoot digital camera - which was
for "fun" photography (Isn't all photography "fun"? - So what I'm I trying to say?
Duh?!). Finally when the 10 mega pixel barrier was broken (at a reasonable
price) did I buy an Nikon D80 SLR. I sold it and bought a Nikon D7000. I sort of
mis film, but the instant gratification of digital is definitely an ego boost. I've
bought all the digital film I'll need - and still have not used all - 120 giga bytes.
And it does not expire!!
Most of my photos are on slides. It is a nostalgia trip to go through boxes and
boxes of slides and place them into the scanner. I've used Kodachrome,
Fujichrome (100 and Velvia) Ektachrome (100 and VS).

I'll go nearly anywhere to get a great shot.
I the one at the end of the rope. My friend
David Moll took the shot.
This is Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.
Normally the cables are up for an easier hike
- but there were taken down for the winter.
